I wanted to share a quote with you, this has challenged me and I hope it changes us both. Try reading it first as it is, then try reading it replacing the ‘young men and women’ with your name…. make it personal. I know it refers mostly to men, but the Christ is for us all; and so is the cross;
“Where are the young men and women of this generation who will hold their lives cheap, and be faithful even unto death, who will lose their lives for Christ’s, flinging them away for love of him? Where are those who will live dangerously, and be reckless in this service? Where are the men of prayer? Where are the men who count God’s Word of more importance to them than their daily food? Where are the men who, like Moses of old, commune with God face to face as a man speaks with his friend? Where are God’s men in this day of God’s power?”

Well, this post is short and to the point; but I hope that you give it some thought. Losing my life to live it in Christ is something I’ve been thinking about a lot. Don’t get caught up with living for Him or to please Him, simply look to Jesus and you will live, pursue Him and be willing to give everything up in pursuit of Jesus…. truly He is the only one who satisfies. Remember that verse “We love Him because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19) yes, truly Jesus is answer enough.
